Pre-finished floors are much more durable with a smoother finish than wood floors that are finished after installation. They also install quicker and easier than unfinished floors, there are no foul odors (some finish odors can linger for weeks!) and there is no need to move out of your home for a week as the work gets done.

Full thickness of 3/4" solid floors do not generally require extra layers of sub-floor or underlayments.

Easy to maintain by just sweeping or swiffer mop regularly. If something disasterous does happen, it can usually be repaired easier and less visibly than laminates or ceramic.
